So I did a lot of things during the last December holidays, its one of the longest school holidays I had ever since I started school (holidays start later in Primary school). I am going to share just some of the more significant thing I did during the holidays (other than homework) in this blogpost.

First, I participated in BNCO( Basic Non Commissioned Officer) course, a SJAB activity. It has almost been a year in SJAB and going to NCO course is a significant activity as a cadet. This course is held throughout 6 days separated into 2 camps which involves theory face(2 days 1 night) and camp face(4 days 3 nights). This camp is a zone activity and involves cadets that are from other schools. This camp is a pretty furfilling one as I had fun and also tried out a lot of new things. We are grouped up in platoons and I made friends with people from schools around the Jurong vicinity.

As for the most memorable activity in camp was of course during camp face, it was the hike we had during day 2. The hike required all of us to work together and use a compass to find out the checkpoints during the hike which will lead us to the final destination. During the hike, it rained and stopped but rained again and this situation required us to put on stuffy ponchos and taking them off and on again, it was really frustrating but it was not that bad after everything. The final destination was the Old Ford Factory which we watched a video and went to see the exhibition in the museum. The next day I had even more fun which involves games, we played different games and we had a lot of fun with the water games. The water games were like the highlight of the camp (for me at least) as it is the part where discipline is not as highly enforced. The part which got everyone having fun was the actually a game to save your friends which were 'hostages' however everyone got crazy and started randomly throw the water bombs at each other until no one is left dry. BNCOC is a new experience for it and I believed I had gotten alot of knowledge throughout this camp and I had also made friends out of RV.

Well I had also gone overseas during the holidays to Hong Kong for a very short while during Christmas. This trip is a pretty short yet fun one as we did nothing much other than eat and pointless shopping.

We also went to Disneyland which is to me a place I would not get sick of no matter how many times I had gone there. It is my 4th time to HK Disneyland and everything there is still fresh for me. As a avid Winnie The Pooh fan, I went for the Winnie The Pooh themed ride twice.

We had a very good time in Hong Kong and I believe it could not be better. I am not sharing much about this trip as holiday trips are usually about shopping, seeing new things and trying out new things, eating new food. Hong Kong has been a place my family enjoy going due to the food. The last December holidays is very memorable and I think its a good time for us to reflect on what we did in thw whole year. I will look forward to 2015's holidays too.
